In addition to these Section 11 duties, further safeguarding duties are also placed on individual organisations through other statutes.

The roles and responsibilities of agencies are contained in Working Together to Safeguard Children 2018.

Responsibilities Re early help

Working Together 2015 places a statutory responsibility on all partner agencies to comply with and work together to:

From 1 April 2016 the Amber Project will no longer be providing any Domestic Abuse support in North Lincolnshire and will become the Scunthorpe Domestic Abuse Housing Management Service.

All new referrals for support and enquiries regarding existing clients (Refuge & Floating Support) are to be directed to The Its My Right Service at The Blue Door. Tel: 0800 197 4787.

However, the process for referring into the Scunthorpe Refuge remains the same.

Please contact the Scunthorpe Domestic Abuse Housing Management Service on 01724 289299 where assessments for refuge accommodation will be completed as normal.  Once accepted, we will immediately refer the client to the It’s My Right Service for their support.
